Golden Kitchen Food Pantry

Category:

Since its inception, the Maplewood-Oranges Alumni Chapter (MOAC) has been deeply committed to uplifting the communities we serve. One of the most impactful ways we live out that mission is through our Food Pantry Program, a year-round initiative dedicated to combating food insecurity across Essex County and neighboring areas.

Through partnerships with local churches, schools, and community organizations, the MOAC Food Pantry provides essential groceries, fresh produce, and household necessities to families in need. What began as a small service effort has grown into a cornerstone of our chapter’s outreach, touching hundreds of lives annually.

The program operates on the belief that no family should go hungry, and that small acts of service create lasting change. Brothers of MOAC volunteer their time to collect, organize, and distribute food items while also connecting with residents to ensure they feel seen, supported, and valued.
